Music Theory
We have to understand the theory of music before we can fully grasp the meaning of a musical sound. Sure you can enjoy the sound, but it is better presented to you when you know what lengths the composer and the musician went through to achieve such sounds. So there is actually a bit of a science to music theory. Of course there is a bit of mathematics involved with finding combinations of sounds that are compatible with each other, and complement the transition between the two sounds smoothly, without causing any distracting and disturbing noises.
So we have to know what the science is that tells us what notes are available, what are the chemical possibilities to create the sound we are feeling while we are writing.
Want the short end trick to everything music?
Whole step, whole step, half step.
Trust me, you can’t go wrong.
But if you ride this out with me, as I post here, you may gain something from this, or you can object and protest and comment to tell me your findings that prove my Idea of this theory of music, wrong.
See you in the following posts as they happen.
Please share and comment to let me know someone out there is wanting to read this.
