I just heard about Rich The Brick Guy on the Ronnie James Dio Fan page on facebook.
The post says :
UPDATE! I found Rich “The Brick Man!!!” This is the homeless guy that lives on Sunset Blvd and hangs out by the Rainbow Bar & Grill and uses a single nail to carve out the bricks on front of The Rainbow on the Sunset Blvd. side. My family and I had a very nice conversation with Rich and I gave him some money so he could eat tonight. If you are in the Hollywood area, Rich “The Brick Man” is always in front of The Rainbow carving different band logos. I’m sure he could use donations for food. This guy has such a talent! I wish I could have given him some warm clothes or a blanket as it’s starting to get really cold. The next time I’m at The Rainbow, I’ll bring him some supplies. Thank you Rich “The Brick Man” for carving the Dio logo and for being a cool guy!- Dean

I don’t have a bunch of money but I would gladly pay $50 a brick to have 4 bricks carved with the word “TruXter” in them by Rich (the way he did Cypress Hill top right of the picture). I am sure I could do this myself but hey, this guy is unique and I want some of that work. I have hopes for a build of a house and would like to put those bricks on 4 separate corners of the house about chest level.
I mean $200 would be pretty good for Rich The Brick guy for something he does for free anyway. and I would be getting something really cool out of the deal. anything over 4 would break me and I am pretty sure he would not want to do a huge stack of bricks. but dang, a whole wall would be awesome.

If you see the guy, help him out, give him a brick and a nail and $50 and make a small request. Ask him to Carve you a Dio Brick, I bet he would be proud to do it. Tell him a Dio fan sent you.
